Main Street Meandering

Disney hasn't always been a personality trait of mine, but now I wear "that Disney mom" title at school drop off with pride.

Most days you'll find me sporting some form of an accessory or clothing item that pays tribute to my love of Disney, checking ride wait times from the comfort of my own couch, and proposing crazy ideas to my husband on how we can squeeze in another Disney trip.

I love sharing our magical moments at home and from our Disney vacations, tips and tricks to make your Disney trip much less stressful, and a little bit of Everyday Style with a Hint of Magic sprinkled in.

Thanks for following along!

Main Street will always be my favorite land of Magic Kingdom. Theres nothing like seeing the castle for the first time, Mickey Balloons floating in the air, and smells of vanilla and popcorn. Without fail my heart flutters the minute I step foot under the train station and turn the corner around Town Square to step foot on Main Street. It was on Main Street where I became Disney obsessed, therefore it will always be an important part of my Disney identity,

I Love Main Street

Nothing brings more joy than the mouse that started it all - Mickey - and foods shaped just like him. Mickey Waffles, Mickey Pretzels, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, just to name a few. I can honestly say I haven't tried a Mickey shaped food I haven't liked to date. No trip is complete without eating my weight in Mickey shaped foods.

Of all Disney World Transportation systems, the monorail ranks supreme in my eyes. It connects my two favorite parks - Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The iconic announcements live rent free in my head. On kid free trips you can catch me riding it in between visiting some of the lounges the Monorail resorts have to offer.

The Monorail is Superior

My brain works in mysterious ways. I can see a piece of clothing on a website and know exactly how I would style it to match the aesthetic of a Disney park. It has been my favorite aspect of Disney trip planning since we took my daughter for the first time in 2019. I believe in family coordination over family matching, think its better to find something you can accessorize to "make Disney" rather than it being overtly Disney, and when in doubt seek inspiration  from Mickey Mouse and his classic red, black and white color palate.

Outfit Planning is my fav!
